Call for Abstracts
The Organising Committee invite you to submit your research to be considered for oral and/or poster presentation at the forthcoming New Zealand Hospital Pharmacy Association Conference 2026
Please read through the Abstract Submission Guidelines prior to submitting, and follow the relevant link to the appropriate template, guidance and exemplar for your chosen abstract.
Templates and exemplars
The format and content of the templates now include the guidance information. The guidance has been clarified to help you understand the requirements. The exemplars provided are from the last few years and have been adapted to fit into the new format.
Availability of abstract review criteria
To further help you submit high quality abstracts we are making the abstract review criteria available to you. Please use this before you submit your abstracts to ensure you are covering the important information in each section.
Blinded review
The abstracts will be blinded before being reviewed by the abstract review committee. ForumPoint2 Conference Partners will remove your author information, and to help with the blinding we ask you to not identify your workplace in the text of your abstract.
Important dates
- Wednesday 25 March - abstract submissions open
- Wednesday 15 July - abstract submissions close at 5.00pm NZT
- Friday 21 August - accepted/decline notification will commence
Submission conditions
- All authors must have the opportunity to review and approve the abstract prior to submission
- All contributing authors have be listed on the submitted abstract and in the submission portal
- All presenters, other than those specifically sponsored, or those advised by the Conference Convenor as being registration fee exempt, are required to register for the conference, for at least the day of their presentation
- If accepted, a condition of submission is all abstracts may be published in the conference app
- Presenters are responsible for providing any handout material
- Submissions will be assessed on content, quality, and relevance to the themes of the meeting.
